Educational Support:

Proficiency enrichment through professional tutoring, homework help, test prep, and a safe space to access virtual learning with supplemental coaching.

Gentlemen By Choice Community Development Corporation’s vision is to educate, equip, and empower youth to exceed the complex demands of an ever-changing world. 

Mission

Gentlemen By Choice’s primary mission is "developing tomorrow’s leaders today." The secondary mission is to revolutionize youth mentorship by intentionally raising organizational standards and delivering a high-quality program that provides youth substance, strategies, and practices that will prepare them for the 21 Century workforce and social engagement.

HISTORY

2014:

Founded by two educators, Richard Jack III and Antanus Pullum

2015:

Launched as a 501c3 nonprofit

2016:

Expanded to serve youth and families in Hawaii

and Washington

2017:

Ladies by Choice, GBC’s sister program, launched to serve young ladies in Hawaii and Southern Nevada.

Expanded operations to South Central Los Angeles

2019:

Ty’s Place launched as a safe space for youth to learn, grow, and reach their full potential. The facility rapidly became a “hub” for partner organizations to receive organizational training and provide quality services to youth.
