Brandon J. Maeda
Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, Brandon graduated from Punahou School and went on to attend Oregon State University. After transferring to the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa to complete his college studies, Brandon began his career in the hospitality industry in 1999 as a busser at the Moana Surfrider, a Westin Resort & Spa (then, a Sheraton resort.) He then took on various positions within the food and beverage operations of the resort, and upon attaining his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy in 2007, Brandon joined the resort management team as Assistant Outlet Manager and Multiple Outlet Manager of the Beach Bar and Banyan Courtyard, eventually accepting the role of General Manager of Beachhouse at the Moana. In 2011, he relocated to Maui as Director, Food & Beverage of the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa, from which he transitioned to Director, Food & Beverage of The Westin Ka’anapali Ocean Resort Villas in May of 2014, and on to his current position as Complex Director, Food & Beverage of The Westin Kā‘anapali Ocean Resort Villas and The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas in December of 2016.
Brandon also serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Maui and is a member of the Board of Directors for Island Ladies & Gentlemen in Maui.
